For over 25 years Leon Translations has been providing interpretation services primarily in the Courts of Travis County. We are also the primary source of Court Interpretation for the District Courts of Caldwell, Bastrop and Hays counties and have worked extensively in District and County Courts in the above counties as well as in Williamson County. In addition we also service the legal community with interpretation and translation services for depositions, tape transcriptions, document translation and certifications. Sofia León, our President, and Tomas León our General Manager are Licensed Court Interpreters by the State of Texas. In addition Mr. Leon is also a Federally Certified Court Interpreter and does work for different Federal Courts throughout the State and the country. In a Municipal setting we interpret trials for the Municipal Courts of Cedar Park and Pflugerville and we have in the past provided that service for the City of Georgetown. The firm bid and got the contracts to provide Interpretation and Translation services for the County of Travis, the State of Texas Office of Administrative Hearings and the Office of the Attorney General for their Child Support Division for seven different Counties. We have also provided translation and interpretation services to CPS, the Department of Health and Human Services, The ARC of Texas, and Advocacy, Inc.
Leon Translations provides extensive coverage for Spanish Language needs. Sofia is also fluent in French, interpreting in community settings and translating documents in the language. In addition, we avail ourselves of different top quality freelance interpreters or translators to ascertain that all commitments we undertake are adequately staffed.
We have the ability to provide interpreters or translators for languages beyond Spanish and French. In the last year we have provided services for Urdu, Hindi, French, Hebrew, Afrikaans, Gujarati, Arabic, Russian, Japanese, Polish, Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese Chinese, Vietnamese, Burmese, Karin, Nepali, Portuguese, Farsi, Aramaic, and Swahili.
